If you have ever stood in line at airport security, you will know that no matter how many signs they post, or how curtly they shout at you, there is always that one person who fails to follow the directions about what you can and can not pack into your carry-on bag.
Just last month a man was cited when officers discovered a loaded gun in his toiletry bag as he was passing through security at Ronald Reagan Airport in Washington, D.C. It doesn't take a genius to know that as a regular passenger, you can't bring a deadly weapon on board. But flying in the face of common sense — and despite the fact that it could be against the law or potentially lead to criminal charges and huge fines — people attempt to take crazy things on planes all the time.
