Bohol needs more retirement facilities
« on: October 24, 2007, 07:19:47 PM »
First District Board Member Alfonso "Ae" Damalerio II stressed on the significance of having more retirement facilities during the Board of Investments'-Philippine Retirement Authority (PRA) Regional Conference on October 19 at the Waterfront Hotel in Cebu City.

Damalerio was one of the resource speakers during the conference wherein he suggested more retirement facilities to address the growing demands of the industry, especially in the province of Bohol.

He cited the potential of Bohol as a future retirement haven, having all the requirements of security and safety, year-round moderate climate, natural beauty and resources and its accessibility being in the center of the country.

Damalerio also cited the increasing arrivals of tourists and retirees in Bohol as the province has become the number one eco-tourism destination in the past two years.
