One girl I know really wanted to spend at least 3 months in Kenya. She searched on the internet and read about being a '
volunteer overseas in Kenya' and planned to do that for at least 3 months and if she liked it, she would stay longer.
Her English was not that good so she first wanted to improve it, before she went there. She followed a '
sprachkurs' of English for 3 weeks and didn't really had the feeling that she was prepared, but she just went and came back with almost fluently spoken English and way longer than she actually planned!
Now she's getting ready and very excited for her volunteer work in Kenya!
By the way, she is asking for a great outdoor in Kenya. Love to hear it from people who have been to Kenya already.
