Printed by Bohol Sunday PostCooperatives here claimed the highlights during the novena night that the Municipal Cooperative Development Council facilitated as part of the nightly activities in prelude to yesterday's town fiesta celebration in honor of the Blessed Trinity.
To grab audience impact, the MCDC and member-cooperatives presented the BIT Troubadours from Tagbilaran City to add color to the festivities during the novena night, with their dance and song numbers.
The talent group of the Bohol Institute of Technology (BIT) came upon the invitation of Mayor Juanario Item and in coordination with the Municipal Cooperative Development Council chaired by Councilor Virginia Item.
The BIT Troubadours is composed of talented students from BIT who have knack in dancing and singing, with Marc Paul Bolanio and Anecito Moreno as their choreographer and conductor.
As agreed during the regular MCDC meeting with the 33 member-cooperatives,
the five millionaire coops- -Talibon Credit Cooperative, Talibon Public School Teachers Employee Multi-Purpose Cooperative, Bayanihan, Talibon Government Employees Multi Purpose Cooperative, and Counterpart Credit Savings Cooperative shouldered the group's talent fee, transportation and food. The small cooperatives were responsible for the presentation.
