FYI: AIDS or NOT, a patient information is confidential, & whoever violates this is punishable by law. Whoever it is that you knew who have AIDS, it is his or her business not mine to complain about. I am worried about contacting AIDS that's why I am careful as to whom I will have sex with, in any way. Wouldn't you? It is matter of choice.
My daughter went to the doctor because she was concern about being sick while pregnant. She was released by that doctor due to lack of evidence that it was a case of Swine Flu. There was NO POSITIVE lab result, but yet, that "health official" insist that it was. Now, who's the doctor? Health officials are to receive reports from the doctors & NOT to DIAGNOSE. If he/she is really a "health official", he/she should maintain order & not public panic. Get the facts first before letting out that purple tongue of yours. We are in the age of advance technologies but yet some of us are still govern by backward attitudes. I know how it is to live in this small town because I am still a Tagbilaranon by heart.
Believe me, I do understand all your concern but let's do it by the fact & not by rumors. Show me a positive lab result. A result that is legitimate & have not passed the hands of a "document doctor".
If it was really a case of Swine Flu, do you think that she would get better? Or she could have been dead by now. If it was, do you think that the people around her would be showing signs & symptoms during the period that they spent with my daughter?
Don't you know that Virus is hard to treat? Once virus attacks your body, you can kiss the air goodbye. I'm not just talking about common cold virus. If you are a "health official" you know what I'm talking about.
Last & foremost, that "health official" didn't stick in his/her mind that "MAYBE" my daughter was having a hard time adjusting to the climate. Didn't it occur in your pea brain that she is no longer accustomed to the environment? Again, get the facts before spreading rumors.
