published by Sun Star Daily CebuThe series of CT scans conducted on Czar Amonsot following his brutal 12-round lightweight championship bout with Michael Katsidis showed no blood clot in the Filipino boxer's brain.
The good news was posted by Philboxing.com in its website, allaying fears that Amonsot's career could be over after he was brought to the Valley Hospital after the fight.
Amonsot, who is form Tagbilaran, Bohol, absorbed punishing blows to the head in the bloody encounter and was floored twice against the more aggressive and power powerful Katsidis.
The Filipino pug complained of a severe headache after the fight, which was the reason he was brought to a nearby hospital in Las Vegas.
Three CT scans conducted on the boxer, however, showed no blood clot and Amonsot's cutman Tony Martin said the Filipino fighter is in high spirits at the hospital.
