Bohol Hosts First Ever International Swimming Competition
by Philippine Star

The University of Bohol is hosting the Philippine Swim League’s 34th leg slated Dec. 15-16 at the newly built 50-meter swimming pool at the Advance Learning Center in Tagbilaran City.

The competition, organized by PSL president Susan Papa and technical director Edgar Galeno, has drawn 12 teams outside of swimmers from Manila, Mindoro, Bicol, Muntinlupa, Davao, Cagayan de Oro, Surigao, Antipolo, Cavite, Quezon City, Cebu, Dumaguete and Iloilo.

The Olympic-size pool, built by Dr. Victoriano Tirol this year, was finished in time for the Bohol event.

Papa said they had also invited teams from Australia, the US and Hong Kong whose members will be adopted by the local teams.

The competition, open to all clubs, schools and individual swimmers, will be played in seven categories for boys and girls – six years and under, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-17 and 18 and over.

John 3:16-18 ESV
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son (Jesus Christ), that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
