Relationship Between the Fatty Streak and the Fibrous Plaque
The fatty streak is the earliest identifiable lesion of atherosclerosis. It has been detected in children as young as 10 years of age and consists of lipid-laden macrophages overlying lipid-laden smooth muscle cells. They occur at the same anatomic sites as subsequent fibrous plaques. McGill demonstrated that increased surface involvement of fatty streaks precedes development of fibrous plaques, further supporting a precursor role for the fatty streak.

John 3:16-18 ESV
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son (Jesus Christ), that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
