I just arrived this week from our home vacation for a period of 4 weeks. As known, there are now lot of houses for rent in Tagbilaran. Please try to verify "Maribojoc Bay"........had just heard it from a Filipina/German couple who used to stay half a year in Tagbilaran. Just ask any trysikol drivers about that place okey?  I hope they can help you.  I heard it is cheaper other than houses for rent over there and quite nice and pretty.  I was just informed this area lately.

We've been renting only for 2 weeks for 7,000.00 Pesos, aircon,electric bills, water are extra.  It was more expensive because there were no flowing hot/cold shower- water as promised, we had to order water per tanks which costs us 500 Pesos only for 2 days, Gas for cooking you must have to secure extra, we had to take everything from pillows, bedsheets, plates and some more.  That house has very old furnitures and we had paid a broken table glass for almost 3,000 Pesos. The settings and view is unpaidable, it was located in Dauis between Casa Filomena Resort and Olmanns View and near Ladaga Inn area in Dauis. That big house has 4 rooms with own shower/toilet and two sleeping has airconditions. Well, we were almost 40 persons celebrating Christmas eve there. We were 16 persons all in all. To make it short....we paid more for the nice view seeing the whole area of Tagbilaran and it is only about 5 minutes drive to the main City, and causeway market for fresh fishes in the early morning is about 10 minutes walk,fishermen passes early morning at the sidewalk of that house but way kuha kalingaw...u can do some panginhas there down your two terraces. Rate every month is 30,000.00 Pesos (wanay barato sa ato ron-hope you will be lucky to have an higher 4 or Euro exchange.

But for two persons DAO DIAMOND CENTER, near ICM is quite okey where we stayed for 9 nights for a 975 Pesos per room with breakfast,aircon,internet, small not really clean swimmingpool open to the public.  They have also rooms for 6 to 12 persons cost 275 Pesos per head with breakfast. While staying there you can also help the Deaf and mute foundation, the personnel are very friendly.
