Senator Antonio Trillanes IV seeks to remove the educational requirement for real estate sales agents.
The Real Estate Service Act requires agent to have at least two years of college to be accredited by the Professional Regulatory Board of Real Estate Service
Under the Trillanes bill, sales agents will simply need to undergo "relevant education" to qualify.
"By giving more persons access to employment opportunities, this bill aims to provide a fertile ground for employment generation to more qualified persons," said Trillanes. (Jonathan de Santos/Sunnex)
