iii.  hands down.  why?  because there is no law in any land that any accused cannot cross-examine any dog.  it is not the dog's fault that he speaks another language.  it is up to the interested cross-examiner to learn the dog's language.  on second thoughts, can an accused cross-examine?  i thought an accused depends on his defense lawyer for that.  now, any defense lawyer worth his salt should start learning dog language...
