These various dates (AD 677, AD 667 etc) come from the folkloric Eskaya tradition. They are important in Eskaya stories but not historically verifiable.
you are correct on this, that´s why one should not easily subscribe as what is printed, edited and again edited in Wikipedia being open to all.
The issues should be taken with a grain of salt.

perezkelly, salamat sa link, it will make an interesting read.

glancing at the first few pages, the illustrations of ancient burial coffins captured my interest. I heard tales since childhood of sightings of ancient coffins found in a cave directly below the the Valencia - G-Hernandez border in a place called Balitbiton. Have you heard anything about this?

I don't know much about it. Best ask Marianito Luspo at HNU or Lyndon Patterson.

Ang Eskaya nagsugod sa panahon sa pagbiya sa mga Espanyol. Mugna ra na ni Mariano "Anoy" Sumatra nga taga Loon. Miadto og Manila, naKatipunero. Miadtog Mindanao to recruit Katipuneros. Mibalik sa Bohol ug nagsugod og communal farm in Biabas, Guindulman. Gidapit ang mga paryente sa Loon aron mouban niya didto (This explains why there are family names of Loonanon origin in southeastern Bohol like Salamanca, Orcullo, etc.).

Hi Koddi, I am investigating Datahan's connection to the Katipunan. There are plenty of stories but do you happen to know of any references in written sources or archives?

Open above and you can read the Eskaya Alphabet.

Base on my observation, the Eskaya letters are just a modification of our English Alphabets. It did not show originality.

Example: Eskaya language       Visayan
              fifi                            yoyo

               WW                          lala

Kini maoy saktong patin-aw sa Eskaya phenomenon. Kini si Manoy Anoy, I know the type. Indeed there's a sucker born every minute. (There are Mormons, for instance.)

This Eskaya alphabet, these semi-literate stories, I could write them all with my left foot on one drunken afternoon.

Based on the article I posted above, the legendary hero Francisco Dogohoy,
Sikatuna and Tamblot were descendants of the Eskaya tribe. The Eskaya
tribe sailed from Sumatra to Bohol in 677 AD. From that time on, this tribe
peopled Bohol.

Hence, we Boholanos came from the Eskaya tribe.
Negative. False. Dili tanan baka sa Bohol gikan pod sa Sumatra.
