MIAA celebrates 35th anniversary this month
MANILA, March 2 (PNA) -- The Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) celebrates its 35th founding anniversary this March and has lined up some activities to mark this milestone.
On Friday (March 3), a walk for a cause will be led by MIAA General Manager Ed Monreal along with other officials.
The walk aims to raise funds for MIAA employees with debilitating illnesses that need continuing medical support.
Registration fee is PHP150, and assembly time at the MIAA admin grounds is at 4 a.m.
Other officials invited to join the walk are Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) Director General Jim Sydiongco, Deputy Director General Skee Tamayo, NAIA District Collector Ed Macabeo and PNP-Aviation security Director Robert Quenery.
Also at the MIAA admin grounds, a mass will be held at 5 p.m. and a "big night" (concert) is scheduled at 7 p.m.
On March 6 (Monday), a month-long bazaar will be opened at 9 a.m.
On Tuesday, a blood donation drive is slated from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the 2nd floor of ASTI Training Room, ICT Building. (PNA)
