MANILA, Aug. 5 (PNA) – Southern Police District (SPD) operatives arrested 30-year old Filipino-Indian after yielding at least Php 50,000 worth of illegal drugs in a buy-bust operation in Makati City on Friday.
Southern Police District (SPD) spokesperson Supt. Jenny Tecson identified the suspect as Aaron Nari Gidwani, resident of Cupang, Muntinlupa City.
Tecson said the suspect was nabbed around 2 a.m. Friday during an illegal drug buy-bust operation at Makati Triangle, Makati Ave., Urdaneta Village, Makati City.
Seized from the suspect were volumes of illegal drugs such as Ecstasy, Shabu, marijuana worth about Php50,000, and liquid Ketamin.
Tecson said intelligence reports showed tnhat Gidwani was one of the suppliers of illegal drugs in the high end clubs and bars along Burgos Triangle and Rockwell, both in Makati and Bonifacio Global City in Taguig where he supplies designer drugs to wealthy clients in the country, party goers and foreigners.
The suspect, who is being held at the police jail, faces charges for violation of Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs), Section 11 (Possession of Dangerous Drugs) and Section 12 (Possession of Drug Paraphernalia), Article II of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
