Some 8,130 working youths from across the country have already benefitted from the
computer skills training and livelihood projects initiated by the government, the Department of Labor and Employment (DoLE) disclosed Saturday.
The youths have been assisted through the Working Youth Center (WYC) projects and Kabataan Information Technology Opportunities (K-ITO), said Labor Secretary Marianito Roque.
“The two projects have empowered our beneficiaries with the computer technology and entrepreneurial skills and on-the-job working experience they need for upliftment and development towards a more productive adulthood,’’ said Roque.
