A tip relayed through the Bohol Law Enforcement Communication System (BLECS) set up at the Governor’s Mansion along North CPG Avenue led to the arrest of a wanted person from Loon in his trip to Tagbilaran.
According to a tip reaching the municipal police station here, the suspect took a bus on his way to Tagbilaran City and would pass by this town.
Acting on the tip, the municipal police here coordinated with Loon station in setting up checkpoints.
Indeed, the suspect- -one Franklin Calipes- -a subject of a warrant of arrest issued by Regional Trial Court Judge Achilles Melicor for qualified theft, succumbed to the composite police forces.
He was then turned over to the Loon police station.
Composing the police team from this municipality were SPO1 Cirilito Curayag as team leader, PO3 Magdaleno Barnido Jr., PO1 Neil Arocha, PO1 Victor Majomot Jr., PO1 Maximo Arocha, PO1 Maximino Nacua Jr., and Michael Armildez.
SPO2 Alfredo Arocha led the Loon police team.
