Movie and Television

Jose "Pete" F. Lacaba Jr. - poet and journalist; editor of various publications; scriptwriter for movies, mostly those directed by Lino Brocka; former member, Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTCRB); and One of Top 100 Filipinos in Culture. He has authored six poetry collections in Filipino and a collection of journalistic reportage entitled Days of Disquiet, Nights of Rage. He has also written screenplays for award-winning films including Jaguar, Bayan Ko: Kapit sa Patalim, Orapronobis, Sister Stella L, Eskapo, Segurista and Rizal sa Dapitan.  The 10th Osian's - Cinefan Festival of Asian and Arab Cinema honored him with the Aruna Vasudev Lifetime Achievement Award for his writings on cinema.

Jurey Pesudas Mirafuentes - Writer and Director for Television (ABS-CBN); Member, Screenwriters Guild of the Philippines; Associate Member, Filipino Cinema Directors, Inc.; Graduate, First ABS-CBN Scriptwriting Workshop; Graduate, International Academy of Film and Television (Screenwriting);  Graduate, International Academy of Film and Television (Directing); Finalist, Best Drama Program (Mga Eva Karon), Catholic Mass Media Awards. He was head editor of the recently concluded Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition.

Larry Jao - film producer (Larry Jao Productions).  One of his movies, "Puri", which starred the ill-fated nymphet Stella Strada, was filmed entirely in Bohol.  Some of its support cast were Boholanos.

Allan Sevilla Dancel - (See also: Loonanons in Music) Musical director, "For Men Only", a TV show of Pilita Corrales; guest pianist at the concert of Kuh Ledesma at the Folk Arts Theater

Community Theater

Bernardo ‘Leon’ Romea + - father of Justino "Ning" R. Romea. He was the original playwright, director and composer-musical arranger of Napo’s stage plays that are mounted on May 25 of each year without fail. 

Jeremias T. Mejorada + - writer of “drama” plays in his native Napo.

Gloria Sevilla-Andaleon - writer of “drama” scripts for Napo.

Jose Z. Lugo - has been directing "drama" in Napo for more than ten years.

Edna O. Lafuente, Randolph Mejorada, Socrates D. Lafuente, etc. - "dramaturgos" or stage actors

Jonas Nahial - director of cultural productions

Manolito M. Bunac - stage designer for "drama"
