Peace and Security in GenSan City
« on: February 21, 2011, 07:18:05 PM »
Police authorities have tightened security in various government facilities and public places here and the neighboring province of South Cotabato following reports on alleged plans by a notorious kidnap-for-ransom group to launch retaliatory terror attacks in the area.

Senior Supt. Cedric Train, city police director, said Monday they placed all their units on heightened alert to avert supposed plans by a group of kidnappers to spring from a police detention facility at least seven of their comrades who were arrested in the city last month.

An earlier report from the Police Regional Office 12’s intelligence division noted that the kidnappers had planned to launch bomb attacks and kidnappings here and in nearby South Cotabato province as a diversionary tactic for the “rescue” plot.

“All our units are in place and we have implemented some preventive and target-hardening measures to preempt any planned attacks here,” Train said.

John 3:16-18 ESV
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son (Jesus Christ), that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
