Parade of pets adds color to Antique’s Binirayan Festival
SAN JOSE de BUENAVISTA, ANTIQUE, Dec. 20 (PNA) -- Forty-three dog owners bringing with them their pets joined today’s “Pet Day,†one of the events lined up for this year’s Binirayan Festival.
Provincial Veterinarian Dr.Romeo Magdatu said that the activity was held to encourage responsible pet ownership.
“If your dogs are three months old and above give it vaccine so that they will be protected,†Magdatu said. Dog vaccination is also necessary for the safety of the owner and other people.
The event held at the Evelio B. Javier Freedom Park in San Jose de Buenavista was organized by the Office of Provincial Veterinarian, Antique Best Canine Club, Incorporated (ABCCI) and the Binirayan Foundation, Incorporated.
A showcase of tricks, games and costume presentation highlighted the event. (PNA)
