NGCP skeds power interruptions in Pangasinan

DAGUPAN CITY, March 3 (PNA) -- Maintainance activities by the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) will result in 10-hour power interruptions in parts of Pangasinan on March 7.

Melma Batario, NGCP regional communications and public affairs officer, said the 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. power interruption will affect the entire franchise area of Pangasinan Electric Cooperative I (Panelco 1) and the Central Pangasinan Electric Cooperative's (Cenpelco's) Labrador sub-station.

She said corrective works by NGCP along the Labrador-Bani line segment is the reason for the power interruption.

Another electric interruption is slated on March 8 from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. affecting Cenpelco's Malasiqui, San Carlos City, Binmaley, Lingayen, Bugallon, Mangatarem and Urbiztondo substations.

Cited as reason for the brownout is the repair of the Labrador-Malasiqui line. (PNA)
