BACOOR CITY, Cavite, Dec. 14 (PNA) -- A drug personality, a cohort female drug dealer including her brother who tried to bribe lawmen were arrested by Bacoor City police operatives during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Ligas on Wednesday.

Police identified the suspected female drug personality as Ariong Macapasir Y. Samurong, 36 years old, who is on the police drug personalities’ watchlist Rank No. 58 and presently resides at Westville Homes, Ligas village in this city.

Her cohort Fatima Bawi Y. Sarif, 22 and resident of Barangay Aniban 2 in this city including her brother Monadato Macapasir Y. Guilla alias "Datu", 40 and head collector of the Zapote Market were also arrested.

Bacoor City chief of police Superintendent Christopher Olazo said the three were nabbed following the entrapment deal with Ariong as the principal target of the buy-bust operation.

Supt. Olazo said that the suspect’s brother Monadato Macapasir interceded upon learning of his sister’s arrest and offered money to the arresting officers in exchange for his sister’s liberty.

An entrapment operation was launched by police operatives during the handing of the bribe money amounting to Php 30,000 pesos to PO1 Jorex Gutilban, prompting lawmen to arrest the suspects.

The buy-bust in coordination with PDEA 4A under its control issued by duty officer Elnie P. Jocson resulted in the arrest of the suspects.

The operatives confiscated plastic sachets of shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) weighing 5.0 grams from Fatima Bawi who aided Ariong Macapasir at the said transaction.

Police also confiscated plastic sachets of shabu weighing 5.4 grams from Ariong Macapasir and Php 6,000 used as buy bust money.

The pieces of evidence were brought to this city police station for processing and turnover to the Cavite police crime laboratory for examinations.

The suspects are now detained as police filed criminal complaints in court for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs law. (PNA)

John 3:16-18 ESV
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son (Jesus Christ), that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
