Loboc Vice Mayor Louie Digal is the incoming president of the Rotary Club of Upper
Tagbilaran.
His new post called him to the Rotary District Assembly in Ormoc City on Friday which was attended by fellow incoming club heads from other provinces.
Digal will replace outgoing club president Arnold Corsiga.
His involvement in civic groups has further fostered his ideals of service to the people, said Digal who is running for mayor of his town in 2013.
The last-termer vice mayor is also an honored first-degree member of the Knights of Columbus.
Rotarians are encouraged to foster the ideal of service as a basis for worthy enterprise.
They go for the development of acquaintance as an opportunity to serve; high ethical standards in business and professions; recognition of the worth of all useful occupations; and dignifying of each occupation as a chance to serve the society.
The “four-way test†of the Rotarians can guide to the things one thinks, says or does.
Digal said this test answers these four questions: “Is it the truth? Is it fair to all concerned? Will it build goodwill and better friendship? Will it be beneficial to all concerned?â€
