Bohol Sunday Post

The prescribed period has expired for the court to rule in favor of the execution of judgment pending appeal sought by a contender for the position of barangay captain of Ibabao, in the Municipality of Loay who had earlier been declared by court as winner after a recount.

In a five-page decision dated March 14, 2008, Judge-Designate Lindecita Arcamo of the 13th Municipal Circuit Trial Court in Loay covering the Loay-Alburquerque-Baclayon jurisdiction denied the motion for reconsideration filed by Narciso Avelino seeking to reverse an earlier court decision that denied his motion for execution of judgment pending appeal.

Arcamo received on March 10, a copy of an administrative order dated March 4, 2008 issued by Regional Trial Court Branch 50 Judge Dionisio Calibo Jr. designating her to decide the motion for reconsideration filed.
