Moro-moro (Comedia) is a play that became popular in the Philippines during the Spanish colonial period. It depicted battles between Christians and Moros--as Muslims in the Philippines are popularly known--with the Moros as the perpetual villains who always lost to the Christians in the end. -- http://en.wikipilipinas.org/

How ironic in the sense that the "Moors" were muslims who occupied southern Spain, and 'Moros' are muslims who inhabit the recesses of Southern Philippines.
