ANSwer: Yes, like:

1. equitable reasons will not control against any well-settled rule of law or public policy. In short, equity will validity to a void contract. (Arsenal v. IAC 143 SCRA 40 [1986]).

2. the court has no power to make contracts for the parties or extend the life of a contract. (Topweld v. ECED, 138 SCRA 133) can now be accessed on mobile phones via Tapatalk App both in Android and Apple OS.
