An investment company domiciled in one of the world's leading offshore financial centers is seeking the services of a skilled capable leader to work as Assistant Director in their Banking, Trust & Investment Department.  The Assistant Director reports to the Director and will supervise a team of professionals carrying forward the Authority's supervisory programme for the Department's regulated entities.

Role:
* Directing the supervisory work carried out by the supervisor of trust companies, investment businesses and investment funds.
* Assisting in setting Departmental strategy and budgets, and ensuring fulfillment of the agreed objectives.
* Leading on-site visits and engaging in dialogue with senior management of licensed entities.
* Interpreting, administering and discussing complex legal, financial and regulatory material.
* Liaising with overseas supervisory and regulatory bodies and representing the Authority on various committees, seminars and conferences.

Criteria:
* Master's degree in a relevant discipline, such as Business, Finance, Economics or Law AND a relevant professional qualification from a recognized institution or professional body (e.g., CA, CPA, CFA, TEP, FRM, ACIS/FCIS);
* A minimum of ten (10) years experience in total of which five (5) years post graduate experience in the financial services industry and/or working experience with a financial regulatory body; as well as strong management, leadership, interpersonal, analytical and communication skills.
* Knowledge of one or more of the investment funds, trust and investment business sectors.

Sir Macky, I wouldn't know exactly what the compensation package is but based on the salaries I know for executives of the same level here in the city where I work, it should be around $200k a year. There is no income tax, although there is a minimal payroll tax of around 2%.  Some company would pay the payroll tax for you.

In addition, housing allowance would ber around 5 - 10k a month.
