Bohol Chronicle - A 27-year old woman was arrested in a shabu buy-bust operation in Barangay Centro, Tubigon town Friday night.
Nabbed by operatives of the Tubigon Municipal Anti-Illegal Drugs Operation Task Force was Rochelle Lasconia, alias Rancell, 27, single, a resident of Sitio Suba of the same village.
The drug sting was led by P/Insp. Ricardo Tero of the Tubigon Police Station around 8 p.m. Friday.
Police disclosed that Lasconia was cornered and collared by operatives after she sold a sachet of shabu (metamphetamine hydrochloride) to a police poseur-buyer in the amount of P250.
During the arrest, the operatives recovered one more sachet of the illegal substance from the suspect’s possession including the P250 marked money.
Lasconia is detained at the Tubigon PNP jail while the seized suspected shabu were forwarded the PNP Crime Laboratory in Camp Dagohoy for examination.
It may be recalled that a series of anti-illegal drug operation have captured several suspected personalities involved in the drug trade in the port town recently.
