The St. Ezekiel Moreno Medical Dental Prayer Mission Foundation held a medical and dental mission over the weekend in Brgy. Bacong, in Anda.
A Manila-based mission group of medical practitioners, cancer survivors and religious persons, the medical dental prayer mission foundation named after patron saint of cancer patients St. Ezekiel Moreno, is bound by the saint’s love for the poor and sick.
The medical dental mission services include surgery, cyst operations, tooth extractions, medical check up, circumcision, and distribution of medicines for the barangays of Bacong, Tawid, Poblacion, Suba, Lundag, Buenasuerte, Sta. Cruz, and Virgen.
Gov. Edgar M. Chatto received the 50-man delegation at the People’s Mansion on Friday, thanking them for their support and assistance to health care delivery.
The group led by founders Rev. Fr. Carmelo Borces and Engr. Adel Vergara were only too happy to have chosen Bacong, Anda for their 60th medical mission.
The medical mission foundation which has held missions all throughout the country traces its roots from their first medical mission in Ligawan, Puerto Princesa in Palawan in November 2007.
