The almost 700 participants of the recently concluded four-day 4th National Convention of the Philippine Association of Building Officials (PABO) at the Bohol Tropics Resort brought a piece of Inabanga when they went home.
This after host Bohol Association of Municipal Engineers (BAME) tapped the One Town One Product (OTOP) Center of Inabanga to produce the convention ID jackets as well as frames for the plaques of appreciation for the resources speakers and special guests.
The Local Government Code of 1991 names the municipal engineers as building officials unless a local government unit appoints one. Aside from municipal engineers and building officials however building inspectors and other staff also attended the convention that revolved around the theme Building the Nation under the Code.
Engrs. Rosavilla Villamor and Nila Gatab represented Inabanga at the gab.
