The Inabanga Fire Station was good as activated with the delivery of a new firetruck courtesy of the Provincial Fire Station.
The Local Government Unit through Mayor Jose Jono Jumamoy was on hand to witness the turnover.
Representing the Provincial Fire Station was Fire Marshall of Bohol Supt. Nonilo Acero and City Fire Marshall of Tagbilaran City Inspector Manases Bautista. Complimenting the services of the new firetruck were six firemen who were deployed with complete uniforms and other fire fighting gadgets.
The local fire station is headed by Municipal Fire Marshall SPO2 Vicente Jumamoy . He is backed up by the six firemen.
In his acceptance speech, Mayor Jumamoy expressed thanks to the Provincial Fire Station.
He said in behalf of the local government of Inabanga, he assured that the LGU will do its part in protecting the lives and properties of the people now that the town has its own fire station.
