Got Muscle Cramps?

First-Aid that can be exercised for cramps are:

    * A hot cup of coffee or tea right after the first bout of the cramp can relieve one from extreme pain. Also try to sit straight and relax for a few minutes.
    * Use a heating pad or a water bottle with hot water to massage the place where the cramps are hurting.
    * Take a hot-water bath with some chamomile in the water
    * Apply soft massage on cramped muscle, also stretch the muscle

For frequent muscle cramps:

    * Drink electrolyte enhanced fluids after strenuous muscle activity, and also supplement your daily diet with a multi-vitamin, which contains potassium and calcium.
    * Eating foods high in potassium - such as bananas, potatoes and prunes - can help prevent muscle cramps.

I always suffer muscle cramps in my early teens. I remember shouting and crying in the middle of the night because of too much pain, particularly in the feet.

My trick: Before the actual pain occur, there are 5 to 10 seconds interval of bearable pain. That's the time to straight up your rear leg and point your feet forward. You have to act quick, before your leg muscle gets tight and locked in spasm.
