Sandugo revelry continues even after sundown as Nightly Presentations, sponsored by public and private institutions/firms in the city, are geared up for Sandugo Festival in July.
These free-of-charge cultural presentations, musical concerts, and variety shows will be staged at the City Tourist Port, starting 8:00 pm.
The City Government of Tagbilaran, to commemorate its 41st Charter Day celebration, switches on the series of nightly events with its Variety Show on July 1. DepEd-City Division's Variety Show and PMI Colleges' The Singing Priests follow on July 2 and 3 respectively.
The Battle of the Bands, sponsored by San Miguel Beer Corporation, takes center stage on July 4, 5, 20, & 21. The grand finals is on July 22 immediately after the Streetdancing Extravaganza.
Colleges are next in line. CVSCAFT's Variety Show, Holy Name University's Night of Diamonds, and Bohol Institute of Technology's The Episode of Rizal present on July 6, 7, 8.
Slated from July 9 to 11 are the renditions from Dep-Ed-Province, Cellmart with Bohol Tropics, JJ's Seafood Village and Bohol Federation of Disabled Persons. Holy Spirit School performs on the next day.
'Cruisin' at the Port' of Cruztelco with City Tires Supply, 'Jam with Angelstreet' of BQ Mall, 'Musical Extravaganza' of Save and Earn, and 'Singapore, the Milking Pot' of Singaporean Claypot are set on July 14, 15, 16 & 17.
The Alturas Group of Companies has its turn to entertain on July 18 while the Bohol Gay Association with its Miss Bohol Gay Sandugo is on July 20. GSM's Tondeña sponsors a series of parlor games with fabulous prizes, participated in by 8 barangays of the city.
Music at the Food Fair thru SMB-sponsored acoustics is at 6:00 pm until the regular nightly shows at 8:00 pm..

PUNCH-FESTAdded attraction to the festivity is a boxing event dubbed as "Sandugo Punch-Fest" at Island City Mall Carpark on July 10, 2007. A total of 8 bouts will be featured; (10 rounds) Mark Jason Melligon vs. Jury Noda, and Leon Maratas against an unnamed boxer, (8 rounds) Carlo Magale vs. Noel Tunacao, Federico Catubay vs. Arnel Austria, Nic Banal vs. Tiny Tyson, Ricky Sismundo vs. Ronald Econas, Joseph Omana vs. an unnamed boxer and (6 rounds) Mari Gil Melligan vs. Romano Gelig.
This slugfest is in line with Mayor Dan Neri Lim's thrust to produce Boholano ring champions, starting with Rey "Boom-Boom" Bautista and AJ "Bazooka" Banal.
