At least 35 out of 53 local media examinees have passed the KBP Announcers Accreditation Examination which was done last September 17, 2011 at JJ's Seafood Village this city.

Examiners from different media outlet in province availed the opportunity which was sponsored by the Bohol Tri-Media Association through its president Fred Araneta.

Among those who passed the exam include Anthony R. Aniscal, Eduardo C. Macalandag, Elvira V. Macalandag, Ronald I. Pumatong, Cecilio E. Remolador, Danilo A. Reyes, Roger T. Balamad, Kristoffer Ian Catoto, Marjen A. Ermac, Baldomero T. Montreal, Jr., Maria Ira D. Pamat, Antonieto I. Pernia, Kenny June R. Requeron, Edgar B. Tumanda, Janet L. Villarojo, Paul Joseph J. Vistal, Finbar A. Abrau, Guillermo C. Aviles, Felix C. Pajo, Angie V. Apao, Edcel L. Closas, Mitos Jennifer A. Neri, Edwin G. Ranan, Charisse M. Sarabia, Nilo C. Ampon, Florentino F. Apor, Ronir A. Arboladura, Paulo V. Cajote, Teofilo A. Gupid Jr., Mercedita L. Magallanes, Victor A. Magallanes, Joven M. Millomeda, Jocelyn C. Ramires, Christopher D. Torrefranca and Dick T. Torrefranca.

Lawyer Virginia Jose of KBP's legal counsel and Vergie Velasco of KBP's standard authority personally came here from Manila to facilitate the said accreditation exam.

Certification was issued by the KBP national office to the exam passers which were signed by Diana C. Gozum, KBP chairperson.

Station manager of every passer will still submit a performance grade for the passers in order for the KBP to finally issue an accreditation card.

Meanwhile, examiners who failed to pass the accreditation exam were given temporary accreditation valid for five months to give them time to review and take the exam again.
