The civil service career examinations, both professional and sub-professional levels, will be held here in Bohol on July 22, 2007, after three (3) years that no examination has been conducted in the province.
Atty. David E. Cabanag, Jr., Civil Service Commission (CSC) Regional Director, formally announced the good news during the special meeting of the Bohol Council of Human Resources, Administrative and Personnel Officers (BCHAPO) held at JJ's Foodstream on May 29, 2007, presided by Mario Lloyd I. Gutierrez, president, attended by the HRMOs and administrative officers of local government units (LGUs), national government agencies (NGAs), government-owned and controlled corporations (GOCCs), government financial institutions (GFIs), and state universities and colleges (SUCs).
Interested applicants may get their CSC application forms from the human resource management officers (HRMOs) of their respective LGUs for the purpose of pre-assessment and positive identification of examinee. The HRMOs and Admin. Officers may administer the oath in the application form, as provided in CSC rulings and memorandum circulars. Deadline of application is June 22. A training for would-be proctors and examiners has been scheduled in the month of July, prior to the date of examinations, to accredit examiners and proctors and to give new guidelines for the conduct of the examination based on the 2004 guide / handbook.
The examinees are to bring the following requirements on the day of the exam: application receipt, one (1) blue or back ballpen, lead pencil/s (No. 2) and eraser/s, valid ID card with photo, signature, birthdate (if available), and signature of authorized head of agency (office / school / postal ID / passport / license / BIR / SSS). This should be the same as that presented during the time of application. The No ID, No Exam policy will be followed. Do not bring cellular phones and other materials other than those earlier specified, otherwise they will be confiscated by the security officers. The Commission will not be liable for the loss or damage of said belongings.
