Competition heightens on tourism come-ons among the LGUs, particularly between Danao and Loboc over zipline and cable car considered as extreme adventure.
Other municipalities, like Dimiao and Balilihan are reportedly eyeing the same activity in their respective turfs. The hinterland town of Pilar has already mounted a zipline across the huge Malinao Irrigation Dam but not completed yet.

Loboc re-elected Mayor Leon Calipusan defended the town's new-found come-ons in zipline and cable car, the latest addition to the town's attractions.
He said Loboc did not make any noise when the towns of Cortes and Maribojoc set up river-cruising similar to Loboc.
Danao, a hinterland town, draws the first of zipline and cable car that are noteworthy extreme tourism adventure appeal. The lure earns an average of a million bucks a month and about two million during the summer months, doubling the income of its public market income in a year.
Tourism Sec. Ace Durano inaugurated it last year during the launching of the "canyon swing," some described it the "plunge." It also offers a lot of adventure-filled activities, like the rappelling, caving, root-climbing, tubing or canoeing, village visit and a tour to historical cave hideout of then Boholano hero Francisco "Dagohoy" Sendrijas against the Spaniards.
Loboc has the edge over Danao, as the town is within reach because of its proximity from Tagbilaran City with paved roads while Danao is in a remote municipality. (RVO) - Bohol Chronicle
