Free training with job opportunity in Cebu for Boholanos
The Department of Science and Technology in Region VII (DOST 7) is closely working with a Korean firm to locally manufacture hospital beds in order to cut down its cost in the market. Both have agreed on creating a continuous training program which aims to equip workers in the production of quality and durable medical equipments.
A 40-day training program with allowance will be conducted this October at the DOST Regional Office in Sudlon, Lahug, Cebu City.
The program is targeting 40 training participants region-wide in which successful trainees will be hired with appropriate compensation in a pilot project on hospital bed production.
To qualify, he/she must be 22-30 years old, high school graduate with mechanical skills, units in college or TESDA or similar accreditations is an advantage, hardworking and willing to undertake 40-day training from 9 am-5pm, willing to work fulltime, preferably with experience as machine operators, welders and painters and must be physically fit.
Interested applicants are required to submit the following: (1) Biodata with recent 2X2 picture, (2) Barangay Clearance, (3) Medical Certificate, and (4) Application Letter
