first things first; ako na man lang gyod ang gasugod ani nga thread, let me explain first what i meant. sa main page sa tb, naa ni sa ubos:

then i'm glad i succeeded. the choice of revealing or not one's (official) name here is one of the factors that made me decide to join this forum. it is enough that i go by the name of islander here, so i am islander.
mas swerte ka in more ways than one nga way makuha nga profile o hitsura. it would not make any difference in the information or knowledge or opinion that one shares. and that's what we're after here, right?
kun magkailaila by some serendipity, fine. kun socials ang tuyo o pasabwag sa kasangkayan ug kaparyentehan how far we've gone or how our efforts have reaped their rewards or even how sad we are with our lot, then there's facebook to turn to i guess.
we can of course do the same here, why not. but at least here we have a choice. in fact, what i like best here is that we can go on and on about a certain topic, whether we know our (official) names or not.
note: official is parenthetical because islander as a name is good enough as any, and it's my name here. i can only judge nga arangan ka ug kahimtang kay i know you travelled around the world. naka kita man hinoon ko ug world but not as a tourist but as a working boy, a sheman.
