Author Topic: Well, I need a little support... (Read 6155 times)

I do not know if i should post this topic here... but then well here goes...

I have been out from this forum for almost a month now. And it has been because of a number of reasons.

For one thing, i needed to take time off for some heart mending you could say. And just when i have moved on, my body just started to break down in a sense.

I have been feeling pains in the area just below the rib cage. It started on Tuesday, more than a week ago and at that time i just ignored it because i thought it was just something that would go away and that i felt it was a normal bearable pain at that time. But then days passed and the pain persisted, getting worse, making it hard for me to sleep at night because i can only sleep in two positions, which is lying on my back or on my right side... all the others are just so painful. I can only take short shallow breaths because it is too painful to take long deep ones. And now i am experiencing heart burns...

I went to my doctor yesterday in the hopes of diagnosis of this pains that i have been feeling but apparently she could not pinpoint what it exactly is... it may be a muscle stretched too much, gall stones, stomach disorders, broken rib... rule out appendicitis because i do not have an appendix anymore. Today i went to the radiologist for Xray and on Friday I am going back to my doctor....

I hope... that all this pain comes to an end. it has bothered me too much, slowed down my work. I hope that all these worries will be resolved and i will be diagnosed with whatever it is. And i hope, that everything will turn out fine in the end...

Please pray for me... I need that....

Dear Ligiah,

To tell you the truth, you were in thoughts yesterday night when I login TB. I wondered the lapsed of longer time never heard from you.
I feel sorry to know the real reason why? I understand how you feel at the moment. You have nothing to worry, you are included in my prayers to be free from pains and God will be with you to lower your pains and tenses. Have trust to the Physician where you submitted yourself for a total checked-up and we hope and pray that it could be something caused from stress not really a serious complaints.

God be with you at this time. Love you!

Hello Gai,

I am not doctor but I kind of know what you feel. It's all because of stress and crying. I dunno, when I cry, my ribcage also get so painful not to count my facial muscles. Yes, I have been feeling the pain you described here. I self-diagnosed that as heartburn and or acid reflux but it led me to the emergency because it became a bleeding ulcer. Well, the doctors here told me that when I sleep, it should be elevated. The depth of the elevation should be at least that of a hollow block.

Gai, you wouldn't want to think it's just a bleeding ulcer because it is not "just a bleeding ulcer". Gai, that sounded nga naa kay stones sa Gallbladder, i hope not. Eventually mawala man na sha pero mobalik balik jud kay naa naman lagi na sha diha...

Anyway, we are hoping its just some minor muscle pain.

Gai, i really know how it feels to get sick away from home and the family, that was always my nightmare.

Sorry to hear you're in distress Ligiah. It must be very hard for you. Just keep your faith and hang in there. God will hear you and rest who are praying for you, I for one.

Let's hope whatever findings the doctor can find that it's nothing serious.

mao lagi te belle... ang ako lang gyud gusto no mahibaw an nako kung unsa ang rason behind all these pains kay grabe gyud kaayo.dili ko katarong ug tulog magabii so luya jud gihapon ko inag ka buntag. i mean, at least kung makabalo na ko unsa'y sakit then my doctor will know what to do.

pain tolerant man unta ko... pero kani arang sakita na jud... di na jud ma tolerate nga i have to strain myself.

na mao sad... hay ate... i wish i could really relax... well, i do my work as if normally just to keep my mind off the pain but then it is always there bugging me and karon ra ba midagan na sad sa right side ang sakit, meaning whole area na just below the rib cage ang sakit.

tapos sakit na akong likod... siguro ang reason sad ani is sige ko ug pangusog especially kung mosakit kaayo... gipamaolan na akong back muscle ug pamugong.

I am not a doctor, but I know that our bodies are designed to heal itself. So, what I could help is encourage you to use that healing power within to take charge.

Ailment develops when your will power is weak, like when you are worried or depressed. Its not fun feeling those pains but my mom told me up untill age 25 your insides are still growwing and developing as a women.
My best advice is to breath and take deep breaths do not worry too much or you will just add on to making yourself feel much worse then you feel now.
Alot of how we feel physically has to do with how we are emotionally.

Chin up!......and hope it is nothing to big and yet fast enough to correct!

hay... nahuwasan na ko sa akong gibati... as mysteriously as the pain came, the pain went away na. the xray results were normal and my doctor told me that probably it was just muscle strain of some sort. but then again... the anguish that i felt was quite unbearable. but the worst is over now and thank you so much for your prayers jud... they really helped a lot.

salamat salamat salamat jud sa TUbag Bohol Family for giving me advices... i have been trying to live healthier and more soundly... like mo kaon na ko regularly, sige inom tubig... aron ma eliminate kung unsa man galing ang mga possible reasons sa akong sakit. and now i am fine.... not fully fine yet, but i am on the right track na nga maayo....

Anytime your in pain stay calm, and breath in long deep breaths and count of ten. In through the nose out with the mouth.
