missing you and tb, folks. in mindanao now. thought i could drop by digos. things have changed.

lorenz, we could be relatives by a hair's breadth. salvo-tan side. am still trying to find out these long-ago connections. great!

am actually grieving. please pray for my kid sister. please include us in your prayers. she's about to go through surgery ala angelina jolie. been crying myself to sleep, if sleep comes at all, causing sleeplessness to the banana republic as well. what i would give to see my sister through this. lord, please have mercy.

isles, for your sister, i will recommend you perform a devotional novena for the intercession of St. Jude Thaddeus. He is powerful and is known to come to the aid even in the most hardest situations.....and he has done for me.....multiple times.

All our times are in Thy hand.

Thou redeemest our life from destruction, and crownest us with loving kindness and tender mercies. We bless Thee, that Thou hast heard prayer, and commanded deliverances for our friend and Thy servant, who has been under Thine afflicting hand.
He (or she) was brought low, but Thou hast helped him (her). May he (she) not only live, but declare the works of the Lord!
As Thou hast delivered his eyes from tears, his feet from falling, and his soul from death, may he daily inquire:What shall I render unto the Lord for all his benefits towards me,and resolve to offer unto Thee the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and to call upon the name of the Lord.

Father, for the strength you have given me I thank you.
For the health you have blessed me with, I thank you.
For the women who are going through breast cancer and their families
I ask you to strengthen and to heal as you see fit.
Lord we know you want us to be in good health and to prosper.
Lord use us to do the work you have for us to do.
For we know time is getting short on this earth.
Lord be with every woman who is sick
and encourage them as only you can.
I know how faithful you are.
You have shown yourself to be everything
you say you are in your Holy Word.
I praise you for you made this body
and you can heal this body.
In Jesus Name I pray.

thank you very much, lorenz, lolla, tigs and chongks. thank you very much, dear friends. thank you very much, tb. going through this whole thread made me stronger. i never knew that virtual friends are real friends. there are real people behind these words that i read... it goes without saying... but now you are all very real for me. thank you for the strength you've given me. thank you for the new faith you've showed me. i cannot thank you enough, but thank you just the same.

Assurance of Godâ€™s Protection â€“ Psalm 91

â€œHe who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.

thank you very much for your prayers and thoughts, tb friends. yes, i stayed with my sister all throughout her mastectomy. she was brave. she held fast to her faith in the almighty. all's well. we're taking it one step at a time. the next step is to wait whether she needs radiation or chemotherapy or none at all.

the wellspring of our tears flows endlessly, but so does the wellspring of our hope. and faith. i truly miss you, dear friends.
