Watching World Cup in Miami Florida
« on: June 02, 2010, 09:19:47 AM »
With only nine days until the start of the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa, excitement is building for the most watched sporting event in the world. And when it comes to places to watch the games in Miami, the choices go beyond the usual sports bar suspects.

Many Miami restaurants will open their doors a little earlier starting June 11 to show most of the month-long cup's games. Games are scheduled for 7:30 a.m., 10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. (see full World Cup schedule). Not surprisingly, many places will not open at 7:30 a.m.

There's a high chance that you'll run into working TVs showing the games around town, but here are some places where you can watch the beautiful game accompanied by good food and drink.
