Argentina vs South Korea
« on: June 17, 2010, 01:48:08 PM »
South Korea captain Park Ji-Sung is ready to put take on former Manchester United team-mate and Argentina striker Carlos Tevez on Thursday.

The Group B rivals, who each emerged from their opening matches victorious, will be looking to seize control of the group and move a step closer to a sport in the knockout stages.

While Park and Tevez became good friend while at Old Trafford, the South Korean skipper acknowledges that their amicable relationship will be put on hold for this game.

"We have played together and I think it is great that we will play against each other, but this is not just a friendly, this is the greatest place to play football," Park told Sky Sports.

"We are both adversaries for now and we will both be doing our best to win the game."

Park has provided his team-mates with a scouting report on the Manchester City hitman and believes that he knows the Argentine very well. - Goal.com

This should prove interesting. A South Korean win will be an incalculable boost to the team, and will rewrite its football history. Maradona is reportedly apprehensive--it's not 1986 anymore.
