I am reading Cryptozoology and related topics.

I've read that there is a bill in Canada prohibiting the haunting of the "Sashquatch". After all, there are evidence that these creatures exists and it is now the most endangered species &  protected by Canadian Law.

How about our Sigbin? Does it really exist? It is an undocumented species and would mean big cash for anyone who discover it alive. Anyone?

Sigbin. People from very remote areas claims that they've seen one but never with enough evidence..  Just a hearsay i guess..

Thanks Lorenz.

It is quite premature for me to devulge what I've learned, but I can share with you some highlights. There are people who loved to spread hoaxes and we do not know actually what to believe.

The topic I am trailing now is about the Thylacine an extinct wolflike marsupial of southeast asia. The last living Thylacine was last seen in London Zoo during the 1920's. They are haunted to extinction by the british settlers due to their fur. Their natural habitat literally destroyed and overpowered by the dinggo dogs bought by the british.

Now, there are rumors of Thylacine sighting in deep jungle of tanzania and some in Malaysia. But scientist have not proven its re-existence.

There were even attempts to resurect the Thylacine by genetic means and cloning through relative species.

I am more interested in restoration of recently extinct species. This is more realistic than a hoax.

Here is one link: http://www.cryptozoology.com/cryptidsq/thylacine.php

Further Lorenz, I have a feeling that there is a significant connection between Bohol's Sigbin and the Thylacine being a marsupial. I love to do study and discuss about this topic. I have previously investigated the shape of sigbin and what puzzled me is that witnesses told that sigbin is eats chicken and livestock while a kangaroo is vegetarian. Based on this we can conclude that sigbin is not a kanggaroo as claimed. It must be a relative of the Thylacine.

sigbin looks like a kangaroo but they walk backwards with their heads lowered between their hind legs dre it's also known as Amamayong.

Hi Kiamoy,

Glad that you too are interested in restoration of extinct species. When I was in college, I have trailed an expedition led by a Japanese researcher (I already forgot his name) to find frozen Mamoths in Siberia. They found a lot of intact mamoths, perfectly preserved in ice. They thought of cloning it or inciminating its sperm in modern elephants.

The story died out and I have not heared since.

Regarding the Sigbin, perhaps we can do investigation, interviews and someday we can put together the pieces of this puzzle.

Maybe the creature is a chubacabra?

I love horror movies and I saw one similar to that Blairwitch Project, which is the Pumpkinhead. I believed these movies inspired the legendary Night Shyamalan where you may find similarities.

At the moment...THE INNOCENT MEN, Author, John Grisham. Have it German language titled : DER GEFANGENE...a book of accusation against corrupt political leaders and other subordinates. A real Polit thriller....unhuman.

Right now I am reading  (slowly as a snail due to Tubag Bohol ;D) Child of Two Worlds by Mugo Gatheru, an African man from the Kikuyu tribe.    This is an absorbing autobiograpy of Mugo's quest for knowledge that took him from Africa to schools in India, USA and England and back to USA.  It gives the reader an understanding of the significance of the confrontation of tribalism with urbanization and Western customs and traditions.

I got to finish this book very soon because I wanna meet the author who is now 83 years old. :D

I just finished reading "The Kite Runner" by Khaled Hosseini
Grabeh makahilak gyud oi. After reading it, I watched the movie, and couldn't help myself to favor the book more than the movie. However, I must say they did a great job in choosing the actors who played the characters, pretty much what I  pictured in my mind.
I just love this author, he writes very well nga makes him one of my favorite author now.
I'm looking forward to read his 2nd book "A Thousand Splendid Suns"

I just finished reading "The Kite Runner" by Khaled Hosseini
Grabeh makahilak gyud oi. After reading it, I watched the movie, and couldn't help myself to favor the book more than the movie. However, I must say they did a great job in choosing the actors who played the characters, pretty much what I  pictured in my mind.
I just love this author, he writes very well nga makes him one of my favorite author now.
I'm looking forward to read his 2nd book "A Thousand Splendid Suns"

Ay naa koy gi rent ana nga movie Beth! hahaha wa pa nako tan awa!

yeah tinuod jud ka mas nindot ang book kay mabasa nimo hasta ijang gihunaguna...
