« on: June 27, 2007, 06:31:45 AM »
Assure means to guarantee or convince.

Ensure means to make secure or certain.

Insure also means to make secure or certain but is used in the sense of securing the value of life or property. Generally, things (lives, homes, autos) are insured; events are ensured; and people are assured.
