Forty years after they left the College of the Holy Spirit (now Holy Spirit School) portals for high school and thirty-six years for college, the members of CHS elementary batch'70 and high school batch '74 held a grand reunion last July 22-24, 2010.
The gathering formally started on July 22 with a Eucharistic Celebration at Dauis Church followed by a Welcome Dinner and Fellowship Night at Café Lawis. The jubilarians were welcomed by their batch-mate Richard Uy. While they all had moments of reminiscing to share, formal messages were given by Yoyoy Nini and Josette Mendoza Sangria, to represent classmates who had to cross continents to attend the affair and class president Acor Relampagos Gonzaga. Parting words were given by Myrna Balani Torrefranca. The program was emceed by Servando Abaya Jr.
On the second day the, batch-mates motored to
Sagbayan Peak for lunch and more bonding moments among themselves. They capped the day with the Loay river night cruise & firefly watching.
On the third day, they visited the HSS campus before going to the Bohol Beach Club Resort for beach fun and wrapping up of the 3-day gathering.
