The Bohol Northern Star College (BNSC) and Bohol Northeastern Education Foundation, Inc. (BNEF) marked 4th year founding anniversary with three days of activities starting Thursday last week.
On Day One, after flag ceremony and holy mass, the colorful parade along the main streets took place followed by the opening program featuring the playground demonstration and the CAT presentation of sponsors.
Day Two mainly featured Arts, Literary and Musical (ALM) cContests. In the evening was the BSNC and BNEF Night with the Mr. and Ms. BNSC Personality 2011 held at the RM gym.
BNSC alumni conference was held on the third day with Dr. Clarita V. Alesna, Ph.D. and Luciano Bentulan, Jr. as moderators. The election of alumni officers and induction of the newly-elected officers then followed after which College President Dr. Amalia Reyes-Tirol who was the inducting officer delivered a message. Another words of inspiration was heard from Dr. Alesna.
A tribute to teachers in the afternoon capped the celebration.
Meanwhile, formerly Bohol Northeastern College (BNC) established in 1991 and the only progressive tertiary school in this northeastern part of the province became BNSCI following the issuance of certificate of registration by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Cebu Extension Office on Feb. 23, 2007.
