Hi Friends,
Thanks to all who helped arrange hastily an EB of our friends Mari, Sir Handel, Paul and Vida during my very short stay in Tagbilaran. We were like long-time friends who were so excited to see one another.
Bambi, Ms. Da Binsi, Grazie, Orchid, B--even from afar, thanks for the warm concern. Without TB, I would have felt like a stranger in Tagbilaran, except for the few people we have befriended in the neighborhood and the kids' school and my sister's family.
My heart is laden with sweet memories of family, TB friends and Bohol. I arrived May 14 past noon to an overcast Narita and it made the remembrance even more unbearable.
Midway, when I arrived at my hotel in Mactan, I had the chance to talk to my son, whom I had sternly been disciplining since we departed from Japan. He was always complaining about everything in the Philippines. I thought that he had resented my strong admonition, as he had been putting up an expressionless face to the very last day of my stay. But on the phone that night, he started crying profusely and muttering his apologies saying he missed me. I just had to tell him, "Now you have to let me hear you laugh so I won't have an excess luggage in my heart when I board the plane."
I had to sleep at the sofa of my office on my first night because I could't bear staying alone at the apartment. I feel better when I woke up to a bright sun this morning. I will definitely be home in July again.
Paul, Vida, I hope we could jumpstart our business venture so that I could fly more often to Tagbilaran. Here are some photos of my family photos taken when I was in Bohol.
