Only in the Philippines. Where people eat a 'meal' for lunch. :P

Lots.

I went to North Towns subdivision to visit a lady friend of mine, she came to visit us with her mother (her mother and my mother were classmates during their Nursing School days). So since i was in town, was invited to see her and her family. I must say that North Towns Subdivision in Cebu is a great place to build a home.

I also went to visit my uncle, Dr. Rene E. Lucino (a General Surgeon--now based in the U.K), who was staying in Cebu for vacation at his new home in a private subdivision there. I was invited to visit his new summer home there. Beautiful home, btw. They were purchasing new Italian-made furniture and organizing their mansion, err, i mean, home. lol!

While I was in Cebu, I stayed at his house, and then rented a room in Cebu City's Crown Regency Hotel (their tallest building, btw). Not bad. The price for a night was about 5,200 pesos. All inclusive: spa, massage, pool, cafes etc. I stayed there with a very good friend.

I went to SM Cebu City, Ayala , Colon Street, Antique shopping, visited the Basilica Minor de Santo Nino (twas more of a pilgrimage), visited CIT (Cebu Institute of Technology)--my father's alma mater. Went to clubs, cafes, piano bars, wine bars etc. City life.

I also ended up EB with some of my old friends that are medical students in CIM (Cebu Insitute of Medicine, Velez College), as well as talked to some friends who are based in Chong Hua Hospital and Cebu Doctors'.

:)

sige, ha. I should be coming back in 1-2 years. So this gives you time to find the best non-touristy areas to take me to. hahaha!
Bem, Cebu is awesome.

I'll tell you this, when i first arrived at SM Cebu City, i didn't want to leave. Love that place.
Another place that i loved was going to the PAGCOR--the casino, they have an awesome piano bar there--i stayed there for 2-3 hours just sipping away sangria and a bottle of sauvignon blanc with my friends. Of course, enjoying the songs that we requested to the pianist.

My song that evening was: DANDANSOY. Yours truly singing it. ha ha

had i had your number, i would have called you. I also tried getting in contact with Hazel, but to no avail.
