Jeanette Matea Molina-Macapaz, MD, FPCP, FPNA passed the written and oral examinations of the Subspecialty Board of the Phil. Neurological Association, given last Aug. 11, and Oct. 4, respectively.
Born in Tagbilaran City and comes from Maribojoc town, the first Boholana neurologist for adults completed her B.S. Medical Technology at Silliman University in Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental; Doctor of Medicine at the Cebu Institute of Medicine; and had her Post Graduate Internship Training at the Cebu Doctors' Hospital.
She also completed her Residency in Department of Internal Medicine at the Gov. Celestino Gallares Memorial Hospital (GCGMH) and Specialty Training in Adult Neurology at the University of the Philippines – Philippine General Hospital in Manila.
An affiliate of GCGMH, Dr. Macapaz is a visiting consultant.
She handles cases like stroke, epilepsy, Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease and other neurodegenerative diseases.
Dr. Macapaz is a Fellow of the Philippine Neurological Association and the Philippine College of Physicians.
