The Tagbilaran City Science High School (TCSHS) bagged the 1st prize on Spreadsheet Bookkeeping using the Microsoft Excel computer program.
John Ariel Lagura, TCSHS principal bared that Ma. Emilee Bantugan, a fourth year student bested 14 other seniors during the Student Technologist and Entrepreneur of the Philippines (STEP) Regional Skills Development and Competition held in Marigondon National High School in Lapulapu City on October 23-25.
The 10 TCSHS seniors who participated in the different categories in the competition got the Top 10 places.
They are Rona Marie Namocatcat, 3rd in Home Technology; Deborah Ann Lumantas, 3rd in Entrepreneurship; King Karl Seroje, 4th in Industrial; Carlo Christopher Lilis, 4th in Power Point Presentation; Bon Rayan Butawan, 4th in ICT Assisted Project Proposal; Nicklaus Batausa, 5th in Homepage Development; Teepu Cedi Cambar, 8th in Residential House Wiring; Gladys Bullecer, 9th in Agricultural Technology and Janell Stephanie Dano, 9th in Newsletter Using Desktop Publishing.
Team coaches Rolando Doblas and Jenelou Israel accompanied the delegates. Her feat earned Bantugan a ticket to the STEP national competition on November 19 to 25 in Davao City. (Asteria Tutor)
