Judge Jorge D. Cabalit of the 20th Municipal Circuit Trial Court of Catigbian-San Isidro-Sagbayan assumed last Friday the post as president of the Philippine Trial Judges League, Inc. (PTJLI), Bohol chapter.
Cabalit took his oath of office before Executive Judge Fernando G. Fuentes, III of the Regional Trial Court of Bohol, Branch 49 after the PTJLI elected the municipal circuit judge as its president.
Other officers who were sworn before Judge Fuentes were Judges Cecilio Dangoy, vice president; Lindecita Cabaron-Arcamo, secretary; Maria Elisa Ello-Ochoco, treasurer; Jorge T. Uba, auditor; and Daniel Jose J. Garces, public relations officer.
The members of the board of directors were sworn before Judge Venancio J. Amila of the RTC, Branch III. They were Judges Olivia Migrino-Mende, Perpetuo Magallano Jr., Samuel A. Biliran, Alejandro T. Canda, Helen Tagud-Cabatos, and Immediate Past President Salud Cabugsa-Migrino.
